Friday October 2nd: Brindisi Airport/Marina di San Gregorio

1. Private transfer from Brindisi Airport the hotel in Marina di San Gregorio, times to be determined.

2. Check in at Hotel Montecallini and free time.

Saturday October 3rd: Marina di San Gregorio/Miggiano/Gallipoli/Marina di San Gregorio

  1. Breakfast at Hotel Montecallini.
  2. 10:00 AM Transfer from the hotel to Miggiano (driving time approx 30 mins).
  3. 10:30 Visit at Merico Company (extra virgin olive oil producer) Miggiano. www.oliomericosalento.com

Learning about the olive oil production, visiting their own meal and beautiful stroll through their historic olive groves, that have more than 700 years old.

  1. 01:00 PM Tasting lunch, learning about the olive oil pairing with typical food.
  2. 03:00 PM Transfer back to the hotel.

6. 06:00 PM Transfer to Gallipoli (driving time approx. 30 mins.).

  1. Free time in Gallipoli, walking and discovering a beautiful village by the west coast of Salento.

Sunday October 4th: Marina di San Gregorio/Gagliano del Capo/Marina di San Gregorio

  2. 10:00 AM Visit the Agriturismo Serine, learning about the local vegetable. www.agriturismoserine.it
  3. 12:00 PM Tasting lunch at the company.

4. 02:00 PM Transfer back to the hotel.

5. 03:00 PM Transfer to Gagliano del Capo.

6. 03:30 PM Cooking class, discovering the ancient recipes of the region.

Local people will work with your group and you will be responsible for preparing a traditional Puglia meal. You will start in the morning learning about ingredients. In the afternoon they will assist you in the preparation of the dishes.

  1. 08:00 PM Cooking class dinner at Palazzo Comi – Gagliano del Capo.
  2. Overnight at Hotel Montecallini.

Monday October 5th: Marina di San Gregorio/Tricase/Marina di San Gregorio

1. Breakfast at Hotel Montecallini.

2. 11:00 AM Transfer from Marina di San Gregorio to Tricase (driving time approx. 30 mins.).

3. 11:30 AM Visit and tasting lunch at Castel di Salve Company (wine producer), learning about local wines varieties – Tricase. www.casteldisalve.com

Tuesday October 6th: Marina di San Gregorio/Lecce

If the weather allows us, we will reach Lecce, driving along the east side coast of Salento, admiring the amazing landscape.

Monday October 12th: Polignano A Mare/Brindisi Airport

PRICE : $5,500 per person.

The price includes:Transfers from Brindisi Airport back to Brindisi Airport. The van will leave the airport when the entire group arrived, one ride; the van will leaves the hotel with the earliest departure, one ride. Transfer by private van for the whole tour. All the hotels are **** stars located in the most beautiful locations. Inclusive in the trip are three lunches and five dinners. In particular you will visit traditional restaurants where you will sample typical dishes of the region and meet local food/wine producers. English speaking guides are at your disposal for walking tours in all the principal places. During all tours English/Italian speaking staff will support you for any requests. All the guests will receive the “Attavola bag” with a welcome letter, the itinerary, all the information about the producers and the cities that you will visit during the tour, food suggestions that you can consult during your free time and a questionnaire to evaluate the trip.
