TOUR IN UMBRIA

Umbria is a really interesting region,
located in the central part of Italy.
It is the heart of Italy.

The landscape is amazing, with beautiful hills, mountains and medieval villages still in great shape, as Perugia (the capital), Assisi, Gubbio, Bevagna, Orvieto.

Umbria is well known for its historical-religious past, well represented by Assisi, San Francesco’s city, Patron Saint of Italy.

It is also well known for its cuisine, that is a cuisine from the land.

Think about the black truffle, especially in Gubbio and Orvieto area, the red wine, in Umbertide and Montefalco area; extra virgin olive oil and beans in Foligno area. Don’t forget the charcuterie and wild meat in almost all the dishes.

A professional chef will work with your group and you will be responsible for preparing a traditional Umbria meal. You will start in the morning by going to the local market and shopping for ingredients. In the afternoon the chef will assist you in the preparation of the dishes.

The price includes:

Transfers from Roma Fiumicino Airport back to Roma Fiumicino Airport. The van will leave the airport when the entire group arrived, one ride; the van will leaves the hotel with the earliest departure, one ride. Transfer by private van for the whole tour. All the hotels are **** stars located in the most beautiful locations. Inclusive in the trip are three lunches and five dinners. In particular you will visit traditional restaurants where you will sample typical dishes of the region and meet local food/wine producers. English speaking guides are at your disposal for walking tours in all the principal places. During all tours English/Italian speaking staff will support you for any requests. All the guests will receive the “Attavola bag” with a welcome letter, the itinerary, all the information about the producers and the cities that you will visit during the tour, food suggestions that you can consult during your free time and a questionnaire to evaluate the trip. Our intention is to make your trip an unforgettable experience with sightseeing stops, lunches/dinners and visits to producers. In short, we are offering you an exclusive culinary view of Italy that you wouldn't get on most tours!
