Description Nutritional Information

Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Australian Manzanillo
Acidity: .16 | Lot: 59262 | Crop: Summer 2021 | Polyphenol: 405

Originally from Israel, this cultivar is now widely planted in Australia. The fruit are apple shaped, light green color and spotted with tiny whitish dots. They mature to a black color with a hint of purple and are medium sized, 4.8g. Stylistically, the Manzanillo can vary a great deal. This one falls into the Robust category. Use it in soups, stews, roasted meats, and as a finishing oil to add flavor and depth to any dish. We pair it up with our Lambrusco over a salad prepared with watercress, arugula, goat & bleu cheese, strawberries, toasted walnuts and a few crushed parmesan crackers on top – delicious!

Flavor Profile: Complex artichoke savory nose, tomato leaf flavor with complementary bitterness and lingering pepperiness. Robust Intensity.
